State Spring 2011 Conference
Thank you to all members, new/old officers, advisor's, presenters, the Windham Hotel staff and anyone that helped to make this years conference a success.

~State Service Project~
For the 2011 service project, we have again chosen the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing, located in Central Maine Medical Center: Lewiston. Our board believed that choosing the center for a second year would only help more people and their families.
We encourage every local chapter to fundraise and educate on what the center does for cancer patients and survivors and their families. Go to the website for the center to see pictures, hear inspiring stories and educate yourselves on this amazing organization.
FBLA-PBL has been supporting the March of Dimes’ goal for over 40 years by being a partner of the organization, and raising over 15 million dollars! The chapters, who raise the most money for the March of Dimes, receive recognition at the National Leadership Conference. Also chapters are encouraged to send pictures and articles of their fundraising experience for the March of Dimes. The articles and photos sent are published in Tomorrow’s BusinessLeader, PBL Business Leader, or the national web site. With the support of millions of people in communities the March of Dimes is able to successfully support and help prevent the number one causing death of infants. March of Dimes continues to support pregnant women and decrease the number of infants born premature every year. With the help of every chapter, we can assist the March of Dimes to strive to reach their goals!
